How often should commercial carpet be deep cleaned?
For most commercial spaces, twice a year is the baseline and quarterly suits high-traffic areas such as reception, lift lobbies and main walkways. It depends far more on traffic than on floor area, which is why we set the frequency after walking the space rather than quoting a standard interval. Vacuuming lifts what sits on the surface. Deep extraction removes the grit that works into the pile and cuts the fibre from underneath, which is what actually shortens the life of a fit-out.
Can this be bundled into our regular cleaning contract?
Yes, and it usually works out better that way. When carpet care is scheduled inside your cleaning contract, it happens on a set rhythm instead of being remembered once the carpet already looks tired, and it is priced into your agreed scope rather than arriving as an unplanned invoice. The schedule is agreed at the start and each attendance is recorded in Connecteam, so you can see when each area was last done without having to check back through emails.
Do you handle stain and odour treatment?
Yes. Stain treatment is assessed case by case, because the right approach depends on what caused the mark and how long it has been there. We will tell you honestly what will lift and what will not, rather than promising a result the fibre cannot deliver. Odour is treated at the source rather than masked, which usually means extracting what has soaked into the backing or the underlay. Where a stain is permanent, we say so and suggest options, which is more useful than a second attempt that changes nothing.
